The Prince of Swords stands proudly above and beyond the world. This is a time, when we managed to cut ourselves free from a law or a burden, which seemed to be unbreakable. The two pillars in the lower corner represent a system, we now must leave behind. Once, they may have been a necessary support, but now they restrict us, and can’t therefore be dismantled like supporting wheels.
We are deeply aligned with our intuitive and creative mind, which helps, to invoke a higher self and another version of us, we didn’t know before.
In the best case, we are now capable, to awaken our inner ambition and transcend this newfound power into an enlightened experience and inner clarity. The crown chakra can be touched, and immense inspiration may flow. We observe, feathered serpents are crowning the prince and arise above his head. The card shows him, to glow from within. Such feelings, to be beyond any physical matters can be dangerous. It may not be wise, to turn away from the world completely, like the Prince of Swords does on this card. We cannot leave behind, which was, but must transcend it, into a brighter future, which isn’t easy at times.
We may not be aware, that our journey is a combination of both, our old and our new path. Sometimes, we are eager to escape our past. If this is the case, we would not be able to communicate our development and progression in a positive way.
Even thought, the prince has liberated himself, he mustn’t forget about his people. At this stage of his development, he can’t be a liberator for others. They need to free themselves. His challenge is, to learn, to translate his new ideas into a comprehensive language and invoke sparks of light in others, instead of becoming alienated from them.
